We need to figure out who gets paired up (team compositions and front/back placement). This might get complicated.
Linkage
Oddly enough, it looks like IGN has the best guide available.
Squad Goals
Alain's All-Purpose Squad
OK, so what are we doing with the lordling? He's up front and is kind of a baby tank. Putting an offensive caster behind him isn't a bad idea, plus also a healer of some kind. What else up front? Swordfighter? Feathersword? Let's put a pin in that.
Fighter(s) and Gryphon(s)
The flap-flap(s) goes up against armored units while the fighter(s) protect the flap-flaps.
Gladiator(s) and Witch(es)
This is an anti-Thief unit: Have the Witch give True Strike ability to the front-line Glad.
Housecarl(s) and Knight(s)
Housecarl to weaken an opponent, Knight setup to attack lowest-HP opponent will finish off, earning more AP.
Hoplite and Shaman and (DPS)
The Hoplite soaks the damage, the Shaman prevents that from being very much damage, and DPS does what DPS do, just a matter of picking which.
